Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Avondale, AZ to perform technical maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role includes completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, and ensuring safety and code compliance across the property.

Responsibilities include documenting work, managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, and assisting in cost-control while delivering high-quality service to residents. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• Certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant units, conducts pre-move-out inspections, and coordinates vendors and materials.
• Manages materials access, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents work and maintains accurate records for service requests and inspections.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs, and minor upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when feasible and using tools and materials efficiently.
