Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical integrity of our properties. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, complete the make-ready process, and document work orders to keep units in top condition.

Qualifications

• Diagnosing defects or problems and repairing in accordance with safety standards.
• Ability to complete make-ready tasks and prep vacant units for leasing.
• Documenting work orders and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Track inventory, access materials, and return unused items to the proper location.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
