Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial activities to maximize performance and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include budgeting, rent collection oversight, vendor management, and resident relations. The role requires strong leadership, on-site software proficiency, and knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in housing industry; or 1–2 years related experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and staff development.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections and vendor invoices for timely processing.
• Address resident concerns and maintain high levels of customer service.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
