Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk management.

As the on-site leader, you will ensure policy compliance, safety, fair housing guidelines, and effective cost control while delivering excellent resident service and coordinating with HR and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Monitor staff performance and provide training and guidance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor expenses.
• Oversee leasing, marketing plans, and resident relations.
• Manage property safety, compliance with fair housing and OSHA requirements.
• Ensure timely rent collections and financial reporting.
• Head emergency response for the property and coordinate with staff and residents.
