Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to support project execution on construction sites, manage contract setup, project administration, and field coordination. You will help maintain PMIS data, prepare bid packages, manage submittals and RFIs, support permit processes, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the project life cycle.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a client-focused, collaborative approach, with on-site presence and a path to growth

Qualifications

• Experience creating RFIs and client communications.
• Ability to read plans and specs and outline submission requirements.
• Experience with project close-out processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution through contract setup and admin on site.
• Coordinate field activities, submittals, RFIs, and permit processes.
• Monitor schedule progress and material deliveries.
• Maintain project data in PMIS and aid in project close-out.
