Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our on-site construction teams. You will support project execution, manage submittals, RFIs, and documentation, and help coordinate with clients, trades, and design partners to deliver on schedule and budget.

On-site responsibilities include monitoring construction activities, reviewing material deliveries, attending production and safety meetings, and maintaining PMIS data. A collaborative approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts.
• 1+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
• 1+ years' experience with project close out.
• Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or 8 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution through contract setup, project administration, and field coordination.
• Maintain project data in the PMIS, prepare bid packages, manage submittals and RFIs, support the permit process, and maintain documentation.
• Regularly on site to monitor construction activities, inspect material deliveries, attend production and safety meetings, and coordinate among project team, client, trade contractors, and design partners.
