Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Project Engineer to support execution through contract setup, project administration, and field coordination on construction projects.

The role involves maintaining PMIS data, preparing bid packages, handling submittals and RFIs, supporting permit processes, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. On-site presence is required to monitor progress and coordinate with teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to contract provisions.
• 1+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
• 1+ years' experience with project close out.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or 8 years of equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Project execution support through contract setup, project administration, and field coordination to help ensure successful delivery of construction projects.
• Maintain project data in the PMIS, prepare bid packages, manage submittals and RFIs, support the permit process, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Regularly on site to monitor construction activities, inspect material deliveries, attend production and safety meetings, and coordinate among project team, client, trade contractors, and design partners.
