Job summary

ABB in Columbus, MS is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations on site. You will coordinate plant equipment, personnel, and production processes to meet demand, quality, and cost targets while safeguarding safety.

As a member of the Columbus management team, you will develop schedules, backfill supervision when needed, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience, or an Associate's with 4+ years, or HS with 6+ years.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred; Lean Six Sigma or PMP certifications are a plus.
• Willing to work onsite in Columbus, MS and manage plant personnel and processes.

Responsibilities

• Production planning and execution to meet demand, schedules, and inventory service levels.
• Identify deficiencies and oversee improvements to productivity and quality.
• Lead and develop the Columbus, MS management team and supervise HR-related tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and issue resolution with internal teams.
