Job summary
ABB in Senatobia, MS seeks an Automation Production Supervisor to lead a highly automated assembly line, align production with demand, and optimize performance. You will drive continuous improvement, partner with Engineering and Maintenance, and ensure safety and quality on the line.
This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in automated manufacturing, with strong PLC/automation knowledge and Excel data analysis to drive efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a Supervisor/Team Lead in automated manufacturing
- Strong understanding of automation systems, PLC controls, and integrated equipment
- Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma tools
Responsibilities
- Oversee automated line operations and scheduling to meet volume and service levels
- Monitor line performance metrics, throughput, and cycle times
- Lead continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and root-cause analysis
- Coordinate maintenance and engineering collaboration to maximize uptime
- Troubleshoot automation issues and manage escalation of critical outages
