Job summary
ABB in Columbus, MS is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead planning and execution of manufacturing schedules, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate plant equipment, personnel, and processes to meet demand, quality, and cost targets while fostering a collaborative, safe work environment.
The role emphasizes adherence to safety, quality, and process standards, oversees HR-related tasks for staff, and contributes to productivity improvements within the NEMA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate’s Degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 6 years experience.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean 6 Sigma and/or PMP Certifications.
- Proficiency with SAP, UKG, Workday and Kronos; Shopfloor Display and MS Office tools.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand and inventory service levels.
- Lead and develop the Columbus, MS management team; ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Identify deficiencies, implement improvements, and drive cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
