Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Columbus, MS facility. This onsite role will oversee production planning, scheduling, and workforce management to meet demand, quality, and cost targets.

You will coordinate equipment usage, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a Bachelor's or higher with relevant manufacturing experience, or an Associate's with more years, or a HS diploma with significant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4+ years, or HS diploma/GED with 6+ years.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications preferred.
• Experience with shopfloor display and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Production planning and execution to meet demand, schedules, inventory service levels, and costs.
• Identify deficiencies and lead improvements to productivity, quality and performance.
• Lead and develop the Columbus, MS team, maintaining fairness and consistency.
• Ensure safety, quality standards and timely resolution of issues across the plant.
