Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead production resource planning for soybean seed operations at McLeansboro. You will coordinate labor, equipment, tools, facilities, and materials to meet schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coach and develop a team, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, manage budgets and material efficiency, and establish effective quality systems with root-cause analysis. This role is on-site with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture or other relevant field.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in production/supply chain.
• Strong coaching/feedback skills and ability to develop teams.
• Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration across diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan production resources (labor, equipment, tools, facilities, materials) to meet schedules.
• Coordinate production and maintenance schedules; manage budget and material efficiency.
• Hold employees accountable and promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Serve as focal point for quality operations systems and root-cause analysis with countermeasures.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement.
