Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Fremont, IA is seeking an Area Team Lead to oversee a production staff and coordinate resources for safe, efficient seed operations.

You will manage conditioning, bagging, warehousing and inventory, enforce safety and quality standards, and collaborate across shifts to plan next orders and ensure on-time delivery. Strong leadership, communication and SAP experience are desired.

Qualifications

• 2 years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing, operations, production, agriculture, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with automation and digital systems; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Willing and able to work shift, overtime hours, and weekend work.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate up and down the line to ensure accurate communications.
• Oversee conditioning, bagging, bulk load out, and warehousing to maximize flow and efficiencies.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, attendance, and process discipline across operations.
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with the Quality Plan.
• Understand and support order activity and workforce planning for next shifts/orders.
• Drive forward planning; ensure resources are ready for next process orders.
• Assist in managing seed inventories and product movements.
• Support supervisors on capital projects and improvement events.
• Maintain records and reports; support continuous improvement and special projects.
• Perform production technician duties as needed and act as shift supervisor in absence.
