Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Fremont, IA is seeking an Area Team Lead to oversee a production staff at a seed corn facility. You will coordinate resources to ensure safe, smooth operations and timely completion of production orders.

Responsibilities include supervising line communications, material flow, quality standards, and continuous improvement projects, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Associates degree or equivalent and SAP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• You have 2 years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing, operations, production, agriculture, or a related field.
• You can work with all team members effectively since you have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• You work with technologies well; you can use and train on automation and digital-based systems, and you are knowledgeable of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate up and down the line to ensure accurate and complete communications with team members.
• Support oversight of conditioning, bagging, bulk load out, and warehousing to maximize material flow and efficiency.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to standard work and safety, attendance, and process safety management.
• Monitor product quality for compliance with the Quality Plan.
• Understand and support order activity and workforce planning for next shifts/orders.
• Assist in managing seed inventories and product movement activities.
• Provide input to supervisors for capital projects and focused improvement events.
