Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to provide onsite technical support within a designated geographic area. The role requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

This technician will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain printers, kiosks, POS systems, and related hardware and software, coordinating with Level II or Lead Technicians as needed for timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epson print systems is a plus.
• Experience repairing laser and wide format printers.
• Electromechanical experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance
• Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards
