Job description

Stand8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

This one-year contract role supports approximately 37 point-of-sale devices used across seven departments. The POS Technician will configure and decommission devices, administer user access, troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, battery, and application issues, and coordinate escalations when needed. The position will also support the transition from legacy equipment to a replacement POS model while helping maintain reliable day-to-day device operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support approximately 37 POS devices used across seven departments.
• Decommission legacy POS devices as they are replaced.
• Manage user access for POS devices and associated applications.
• Troubleshoot device error messages, network connectivity, battery performance, and other operational issues.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to the appropriate external support channel and track them through resolution.
• Support the web-based POS management application and related invoicing application.

The base range for this contract position is $35 - $45 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
