Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility or related medical experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients on-site for eligibility with hospital staff.
• Initiate the application process bedside when possible.
• Document patient information on the in-house screening sheet and hospital system.
• Face-to-face or home-visit screening of patients for eligibility programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of account information.
