Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site for eligibility programs at a medical facility in Edgewood, KY. The role involves bedside or ER screening, managing documentation, and reporting progress to client contacts.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 1–3 years in medical billing/eligibility, along with strong customer service and basic computer skills. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 9am–5:30pm, with benefits listed in the ad.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years' experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen on-site at hospital for eligibility and assist with enrollment applications.
• Identify patients eligible for State, County and/or Federal programs.
• Initiate applications bedside when possible and document results in hospital systems.
• Maintain logs of screened accounts and follow up on patient progress.
• Conduct on-site patient screenings and, if needed, home visits for eligibility.
