Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is hiring a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients onsite at a medical facility in New Albany, IN. The role focuses on eligibility assistance programs, bedside enrollment, and reporting progress to client contacts.

You will work with hospital staff to identify self-pay patients, guide enrollment, and document outcomes in hospital systems and internal tracking tools. Prior medical billing or eligibility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 - 3 years' experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility, or related medical field preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients on-site at hospitals for eligibility assistance programs.
• Identify self-pay patients and refer to State/County/Federal programs.
• Initiate enrollment applications bedside when possible.
• Document screening results in hospital systems and in-house tools.
• Maintain professional relationships with hospital staff and management.
