Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site for eligibility programs at a Morgantown facility. Responsibilities include bedside screening, initiating enrollment, and maintaining accurate records within the hospital system.

The role requires 1–3 years in medical billing/coding or related fields and strong customer service skills. On-site work, regular interactions with hospital staff, and adherence to privacy rules are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years' experience of medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients on-site to identify eligibility for State, County and/or Federal programs.
• Initiate the enrollment application process bedside when possible.
• Document patient information and screen results in the onsite tracking tool and hospital computer system.
• Perform outside field work including patient home visits to screen for eligibility of state, county, and federal programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and log accounts referred each day.
