Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC in Dallas is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site for eligibility programs at hospitals, either bedside or in the ER. You will gather information and report progress to client contacts, helping determine program eligibility and financial assistance options.

The role requires basic computer skills, a High School Diploma, and 1–3 years in medical billing or eligibility work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in medical billing, eligibility, or related field preferred.
• Experience screening patients for financial assistance is beneficial.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for State, County, and Federal eligibility programs.
• Initiate the application process bedside when possible.
• Document screening results in the hospital system and onsite tracking tool.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and Firstsource client contacts.
• Face-to-face screening on-site; follow-up by phone if needed.
