Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for patients at Carillion- Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. This onsite role requires handling MRNs, insurance data, and patient education while meeting regulatory and policy requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in customer service and is open to AI-enabled process improvements. Company-paid CRCR training is offered along with tuition reimbursement and full benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CRCR within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Aufgaben

• Admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Assign MRNs, perform medical necessity / compliance checks, collect insurance information and process orders.
• Pre-register patient accounts and verify demographic, insurance and financial information; collect point of service payments when applicable.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents as required.
• Review insurance eligibility responses and support POS and billing processes to maintain clean claim rates.
• Screen for medical necessity using ABN software and distribute ABN and related documentation as needed.
