Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to join our Richmond, VA team onsite. You will perform admitting duties, verify insurance, collect patient information, and support POS collections while delivering compassionate, accurate service.

Responsibilities include MRN assignment, medical necessity checks, and navigating ABN software to inform Medicare patients of potential non-payment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and perform MRN assignment and medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Operate the switchboard and provide excellent customer service with compassion.
• Support point of service collections and maintain accurate patient records.
