Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Machine Technician to install, configure and maintain equipment at customer facilities in Topeka, KS. You will perform start-up testing, provide training on product capabilities and maintain strong customer relationships while collaborating with R&D, Software, and Quality teams.

The role requires problem-solving skills, knowledge of Windows platforms, hand tools, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree or equivalent experience with vocational training or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Windows platforms and basic Microsoft Office or Google Suite is helpful

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate with stakeholders
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation
• Collaborate with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency service as needed
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine performance issues
• Learn customer processes and packaging specifications for better service
• Install Packsize solutions and train users on operation and maintenance
• Handle basic administrative duties and timely communication
• Communicate clearly with Packsize and customer personnel
• Adhere to safety requirements and protocols
