Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Machine Technician to install, configure, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities around Reno, NV. You will diagnose issues from drawings, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers on product capabilities and routines.

The role requires travel to customer sites, collaboration with R&D and Quality teams, and strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read technical documentation.
• Comfort working at customer sites and traveling as needed.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling tasks at a customer site.
• Troubleshooting issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborating with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Performing routine maintenance and emergency services as they arise.
• Analyzing customer KPI data to identify machine issues and perform maintenance.
• Installing Packsize solutions and training customers to use and maintain them.
• Preparing detailed technical reports and arranging travel when needed.
