Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Outbound Manager for the Dayton, NJ distribution center. You will lead hourly associates, monitor performance with KPIs, and drive on-time shipments while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will develop labor schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate policies, and ensure top service for internal and external customers, while managing budgets and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Onsite and in-office role.
• 3–5 years of relevant distribution or manufacturing management/leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Must be highly organized and process oriented; Ability to complete multiple tasks consistently and on time.
• Warehouse Management System experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly associates to meet or exceed operational goals and use KPIs for improvement.
• Maintain on-time shipments, optimize people utilization and reduce damages.
• Communicate policies and serve as primary information source for team.
• Direct and ensure top service for internal/external customers.
• Develop performance goals to ensure accuracy and customer expectations.
• Maintain health and safety standards and promote safety culture onsite.
• Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and peak-season labor schedules.
• Achieve financial plans and budget objectives.
