Job summary

Hermès of Paris is seeking a Senior Manager of Logistics Operations for the Dayton Distribution & Service Center in Dayton, NJ. You will oversee daily throughput, staffing, and ecommerce fulfillment across the Distribution Center.

The role partners with Distribution Services, Traffic and Inventory Control to drive continuous improvement, optimize product flow, and ensure safety and accuracy across inbound, outbound and warehouse operations. Some weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a similar role or department.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Conversational Spanish language preferred.
• WMS - Manhattan Associates knowledge preferred.
• Cegid knowledge preferred.
• Strong budgeting and ability to exercise judgement.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Flexible work schedule including some weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations including small package and LTL fulfillment.
• Manage staffing and allocation for Ecommerce demand.
• Partner with Distribution Services, Traffic, and Inventory Control to set priorities.
• Own optimization of Distribution Center efficiency (Inbound, Outbound and inventory accuracy).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across processing area.
• Ensure safety and security of staff, products, and facility.
• Onboard, train, and mentor employees to maximize output.
• Schedule staff and align shifts across multiple days.
• Maintain relationships with the Distribution Service & Transportation teams to alert and resolve issues.
• Support cycle counts with Inventory Control and improve processes.
