Ohalo is seeking an Office & Operations Manager to own daily facilities and workplace experience at our Watsonville greenhouse locations. This onsite, five-days-per-week role reports to the Greenhouse Operations Lead and supports both office and on-site operations, vendor management, and employee services.

You will coordinate supplies, safety and compliance, events, and IT readiness for new hires, while fostering a productive, positive environment across offices and greenhouses in Watsonville

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience in facilities management, office management, or operations (biotech/ag-tech/lab/greenhouse exposure a plus).
• Scrappy, agile doer with relentless work ethic.
• Critical thinker and independent problem solver.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized; strong time management.
• Startup mindset: “do what it takes” and adapt to fast pace.

Responsabilités

• Work onsite 5 days a week at Watsonville greenhouse; manage daily operations and maintain workspace.
• Support Greenhouse facilities team on complex operational activities and projects.
• Partner with People team to organize in-office employee events and celebrations.
• Support safety and compliance programs: documentation, inspections, trainings.
• Manage vendor relationships (janitorial, HVAC, landscaping, waste, pest management) and coordinate IT needs for new hires.
• Serve as onsite point of contact for recruiting, visits, and logistics; assist with seating, mail, and packages.
• Provide office management support for Aptos location (pest control, maintenance, building coordination).
