Job summary

Ohalo is seeking an IT Support Associate to be the first point of contact for technology support across the organization, resolving hardware, software, and access issues. The role includes onboarding new hires, maintaining a secure IT environment, and supporting lab and office sites in Watsonville, with occasional travel to South San Francisco.

Entry-level position ideal for those who enjoy helping people and want to build a career in IT.

Qualifications

1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience.
Proficient in macOS and Windows troubleshooting.
Experience with Google Workspace administration and user management.
Familiarity with MDM/UEM device management.
Basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
Familiarity with AI services and chat/assistive tools.
Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM processes.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain tech to non-tech.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work onsite in Watsonville.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline IT support across Slack, email, and in person.
Troubleshoot laptops, peripherals, printers, and network issues.
Set up and deploy new laptops; onboard/offboard employees.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Google Workspace.
Support SSO, MFA, and password resets.
Assist with device management and endpoint security tasks.
Maintain asset inventory for hardware and software licenses.
Escalate complex issues with clear documentation.
Create knowledge base articles to speed resolution.
Support IT needs at lab and office sites; travel to South San Francisco as needed.
