Job summary

Sun World International LLC, a California-based agriculture and technology firm, is seeking a hands-on Greenhouse and Farm Equipment Specialist to translate strategic goals into daily plans. You will manage greenhouse operations and farm equipment supporting our grape, stone fruit, and sub-tropical breeding programs.

Responsibilities include planning activities, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a fully onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Viticulture, Horticulture, or related field.
• 7+ years greenhouse management experience, preferably with grape/fruit crops.
• Knowledge of greenhouse fertigation systems and crop management.
• Demonstrated team supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule greenhouse and screenhouse activities for uniform growth.
• Oversee planting, irrigation, nutrition, pest management; provide process feedback.
• Stay current on greenhouse management innovations and best practices.
• Maintain safe, compliant greenhouse operations and training.
• Train and supervise greenhouse and farm equipment staff and contractors.
