Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens and educate families about early intervention.

On-site at one or more hospital locations, you will screen newborns, ensure readiness, and document results while advancing through on-the-job training and an American Academy of Audiology‑accredited certification. Responsibilities include efficient screening, data collection, and parent education, with scheduling for refer babies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Provide newborn hearing screenings in hospital after birth.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure screen readiness and accurate data collection for each baby.
• Upload results and billing/state reporting by end of each shift.
• Schedule outpatient follow‑up appointments for refer babies when needed.
