Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Property Manager-Multifamily in Chicago, IL. You will support the Property Manager, handling lease renewals, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and move-outs to ensure strong resident relations and community profitability.

The role emphasizes on-site operations, financial management, and client reporting. Bachelor-level education is preferred; a Real Estate license may be required within a set timeframe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of onsite residential property management experience.
• Real Estate license within 120 days to 6 months, as required by state law.
• 1–2 years of AR, budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Proficient with property management software (Yardi/RealPage/MRI) and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer lease renewals and manage renewal letters, files, and processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable, rents, fees, and collections; generate reports.
• Serve as primary contact for resident inquiries and service coordination.
• Assist with eviction processes and ensure compliance with laws.
• Inspect units, manage move-outs, and handle deposits/refunds.
• Coordinate maintenance with staff and external contractors.
