Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Westmont, IL to support daily operations and financial performance of a multifamily property. You will partner with the Property Manager to deliver an exceptional resident experience, manage leasing, collections, applications, move-ins/outs, and coordinate maintenance and reporting.

This role requires 2 years of multifamily experience, a high school diploma, and strong customer service, organization, and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Industry certifications (CAM, CPM, RMP, CMCA) are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and post rent payments in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
• Maintain all account records and financial transactions, including NSF checks, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management-approved debits and credits.
• Keep complete and accurate resident files, ensuring all documentation meets company standards.
• Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
• Show, lease, and assist with move-ins for prospective residents.
• Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
• Conduct move-in inspections and deposit accounting; perform unit inspections for smooth operations.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support the Property Manager with daily operations and special projects.
