Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Property Manager for one of our Chicago-area multifamily communities. You will lead daily operations, oversee on-site teams, lease activities, and work to deliver an exceptional living experience for residents.

You will own the numbers, the resident experience, and the culture—driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and revenue with a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in multifamily property management and 2+ years leading a team.
• Experience managing budgets, rent rolls, and financial reporting is essential.
• Strong communication skills for residents, staff, and vendors.
• Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations from leasing to work orders and vendor coordination.
• Lead on-site leasing and maintenance teams and foster a positive culture.
• Market property to attract residents and renew leases.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, maximize revenue, and ensure rent collection.
• Be resident-focused, resolve concerns, and ensure a place residents are proud to call home.
• Conduct regular property inspections, oversee unit readiness, and oversee maintenance standards.
• Submit accurate financial reports and stay compliant with local regulations.
• Engage with local apartment associations and maintain a strong community reputation.
