Topcon Healthcare in Oakland, NJ is seeking a proficient Technical Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. You will provide professional technical assistance, troubleshoot products, and support customers and distributors.

This 100% onsite role requires solid knowledge of electronics, SQL, networking, and Windows; strong communication; and ability to multitask. Spanish is a plus; a BS/AS in a related field is preferred; we offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS degree or AS in Electronic Technology, Biomedical Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Preferred engineering degree such as Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Networking and Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good written & verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assistance to clients via telephone.
• Troubleshoot and repair Topcon products in house and at the customer’s site.
• Provide remote assistance via internet or phone.
• Provide technical and clinical support to customers, distributors and employees.
