Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a client in Ashaway, RI. This is a full-time contract position with the possibility of contract-to-hire after 12 months, onsite on the first shift.

You will work with engineers on set-up, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0–3 years of related experience and IPC J-STD-001 solder certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0–3 years of related experience.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions across manufacturing operations with engineers in setup and calibration tasks.
• Conduct rework and quality testing of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Use programs to collect and evaluate operating data and make on-line adjustments to products or equipment.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
