Job summary

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a 12-month contract, onsite in Malabar, FL 32950. Shift is 2nd, 3:30pm-2am, Monday–Thursday, with potential for contract-to-hire.

Pay range is $23-$25/hr, with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on quality and calibration work. The role requires collaboration with engineers on set-up, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts and assemblies, plus data-driven adjustments to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• JStandard and IPC 610 Certified.
• Torque tool experience, hand and automated.
• Soldering sample test required for the interview.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
