Job summary

REQ Solutions is seeking an onsite Manufacturing Technician to support production with engineers in setup and calibration, develop methods to control processes, and ensure adherence to QSR and ISO safety standards.

The role involves collaborating on experiments, implementing corrective actions, maintaining equipment, and driving yield improvements while ensuring quality through established procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations with engineers in setup and calibration tasks.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Work with engineers on experiments and process improvement.
• Observe and comply with safety rules and regulations (QSR and ISO Standards).
• Maintain compliance to the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on process improvement and project execution.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
• Perform equipment setup and maintenance (corrective, preventive, calibration).
• Install and validate equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Evaluate operating data and adjust products/equipment as needed; revise documents as required.
• Certify manufacturing associates in production processes.
• Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
• Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. This includes QSR and ISO Standards.
• Maintains compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
• Work with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution.
• Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing related issues.
• Performs equipment setup and corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary.
• Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
• Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.
• Certifies manufacturing associates in the production processes.
• Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.
