Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician to join our Ashaway, RI team. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying development and production components, including electrical, fiber optic, and mechanical assemblies.

You will support engineers with set-up, calibration tasks, and on-line data evaluation to drive product quality. The ideal candidate will perform functional tests, interpret drawings and procedures, and work under supervision to ensure

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associate degree with 0-2 years related experience.
• Eligible for a US Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses using test equipment.
• Set up test apparatus to perform functional, environmental, and life tests per procedures.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting failed components under direction.
• Read work instructions, schematics, and procedures to determine test methods for electrical, fiber optic and mechanical components.
