Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a capable Desktop Support Technician to join a high-performing team onsite at the Mineral Point manufacturing site. You will provide hands-on support for end-user devices, imaging, and printers, while assisting with servers, network gear, and data-closet infrastructure.

With 3–5 years of relevant experience, you will troubleshoot Windows environments (including Server 2008–2019) and Active Directory, contribute to incident resolution, and collaborate with vendors and plant

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of desktop/site support experience in a hands-on environment.
• Strong desktop support, imaging, printer support, and customer service.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, network connectivity, and common devices.
• Experience supporting Windows environments from legacy versions to Windows 11.
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2008–2019; Active Directory; antivirus and security settings.
• Proficiency with Office, Teams, SharePoint, Remote Desktop, Telnet/PuTTY.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite plant environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and imaging.
• Set up and troubleshoot data closets, servers, UPS, and network devices.
• Monitor site technology health and escalate infrastructure issues.
• Configure workstations and servers per documented standards.
• Perform routine maintenance: patching, imaging, backups, and incidents.
• Support network infrastructure and assist with cabling and terminations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for maintenance in secured areas.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and IT teams to ensure reliable operations.
