Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site end-user IT support at client locations in Philadelphia. You will troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, install and maintain hardware and software, and coordinate with the IT service delivery team to resolve issues quickly.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently in field environments, and adherence to client security policies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and performing replacements.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing on-site tasks.
