Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience with affordable housing programs, CAM or ARM certification (preferred), and strong leadership with budget and marketing plan development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Must understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
• Monitor leasing reporting, resident issues, and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Head emergency team for the property and coordinate with staff and residents to minimize liability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Four years housing industry experience

CAM/ARM certification preferred
