Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management on-site.

Essential duties include staffing, budgeting, leasing oversight, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws. The role requires strong leadership and a focus on resident satisfaction within our affordable housing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four year's experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor expenses and revenues.
• Plan and implement resident retention programs and monthly communications.
• Lead emergency response planning and ensure timely service requests and repairs.
• Manage vendor relations, contracts, and safety compliance.
