Job summary

Greystar, a leader in apartment management, seeks a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of garden-style communities in Georgia. The role covers safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality as part of daily operations.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for move-ins, inventory management, and documentation while supporting grounds and amenities. The position follows a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing to policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, supplies, and inspecting work.
• Accesses and tracks inventory of materials, returns unused items, and notifies maintenance about re-order needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and proper use of tools.
