Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality across grounds, amenities, and common areas.

The role requires completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and thorough documentation. You will help uphold safety standards, assist with routine inspections, and support cost-conscious maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local certifications as required for all Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Perform make-ready processes to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting.
• Support cost control by repairing before replacing when feasible.
