Job summary

KNAPP seeks a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical expertise, maximizing equipment utilization and efficiency. You will respond to customer-site emergencies, own repairs, and train customer teams as needed.

Role requires degree or equivalent experience, 3–8 years in industrial maintenance, and ability to work in a safety‑conscious, fast-paced environment. Travel and on-site collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3–8 years of verifiable progressive maintenance experience on industrial machinery.
• Experience in repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/German preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls on customer sites and ensure quick time resolution.
• Set up and calibrate precision automation equipment and conveyor systems.
• Maintain quality of service and communicate effectively with customers.
