Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical expertise on site, maximizing equipment utilization and efficiency across our automation systems. You will be part of a team that delivers high-quality maintenance and support for CNAPP customers.

You will respond to emergency calls, perform setup and calibration of precision automation equipment, train customer teams, and ensure safe, effective service while coordinating with site management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3–8 years of verifiable progressive experience as a Maintenance Repairman, Maintenance Electrician, Machine Repairman, or Industrial Maintenance Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in providing repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or (English/German) preferred but not required.
• Theoretical and operational experience in repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC-based machinery, highly automated and robotic equipment and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls on Customer sites.
• Operate setup and calibration of precision automation equipment.
• Maintain quality of service by ensuring effective communication with customers.
• Train customer’s maintenance team as required.
• Provide specialist maintenance service support to the Customer’s installed system.
