Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to deliver electrical and mechanical expertise on industrial equipment, maximizing uptime and efficiency. You will handle electro-mechanical faults, calibrate automation systems, and respond to on-site emergencies while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications include a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 3–8 years of maintenance repair experience, and PLC/automation familiarity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3–8 years of progressive maintenance experience on electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience with PLC-based machinery, automation and robotics.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls at customer sites.
• Set up and calibrate precision automation equipment.
• Maintain quality of service and provide clear written reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and site management.
