Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician at The Atherton in Charlotte, NC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards, including completing work orders, make-ready tasks, and routine inspections.

Role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal), state/local certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicle use.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal)
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing; completes inspections, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and ensures timely completion.
• Manages materials access and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor to reorder supplies.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible and using tools efficiently.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local jurisdictions certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
