Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities at Solstice at Eastland Yards in Charlotte, NC.

The role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license. Physical work includes on-site maintenance, safety compliance, and occasional on-call shifts. Benefits and compensation are provided per the Greystar program.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Applies to Certified Service Technicians).
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the maintenance supervisor about re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing instead of replacing parts and using tools and materials efficiently.
